Does the iKagoo screen create new vehicle data?
No. For supported Volkswagen and Audi retrofit routes, the iKagoo LCD display uses the original instrument-cluster mainboard and its factory interface route as the vehicle-information source. The upgraded screen presents supported original information from that original-board route rather than independently rebuilding the vehicle data.

This product is not positioned as a generic standalone CAN Bus reader. Its display route is built around technical integration with the original mechanical instrument-cluster mainboard for the confirmed vehicle application.
Factory-Prepared Matching Route
Display integration, interface matching and product-side configuration for the confirmed application are prepared and tested by iKagoo before the corresponding unit is supplied.
Normally No Extra Vehicle Coding
After correct installation using the matched route, customers normally do not need additional vehicle coding solely for the supplied screen to display supported original information.
Service boundary: If displayed information or original-data presentation does not match the confirmed vehicle setup after installation, iKagoo may provide a supported remote software update or correction route where applicable. Software correction does not guarantee repair of wiring mistakes, damaged original boards, incorrect hardware installation, unsupported vehicle configurations, or unrelated vehicle faults.

Model & Calibration
PQ and MQB settings must not be mixed

Fuel Tank Calibration
Use for documented PQ-platform fuel-display adjustment only where needed. MQB units do not require the same fuel-tank setting or consumption-calibration path.
Speed Calibration
If a consistent reference shows 120 while the cluster shows 118, use an adjustment value of 2; if the cluster reads 120 while the reference shows 118, use -2.
Pointer Sensitivity
Adjusts tachometer or speedometer pointer response where supported. Check the live result after each change and avoid repeated unverified adjustments.
Platform warning: Do not copy a PQ setting procedure onto an MQB cluster or vice versa. If the applicable platform or software route is unclear, send the version-information screen before changing calibration values.

How does the iKagoo cluster display original vehicle information?
For supported Volkswagen and Audi retrofit routes, the upgraded LCD display is technically integrated with the original instrument-cluster mainboard and uses its factory interface route as the source for supported original vehicle information.
Do I need additional coding or programming after correct installation?
Normally, no additional vehicle coding is required solely for the supplied screen to display supported original information after correct installation. The product-side matching route is prepared by iKagoo. Where applicable, a confirmed display-data mismatch may be addressed through supported remote software correction.
The time setting did not appear to save. What should I check?
Save the setting again and switch to another page before checking the result. On documented PQ routes, year, month and day are not set through this path. Some Audi routes may display a saved change after a short delay.
Bluetooth phone information is missing. Is the screen defective?
Not necessarily. Bluetooth-related display behavior can depend on the original vehicle and instrument-board support route. A function absent from the original configuration should not be assumed to appear solely because the display has been upgraded.
The brightness adjustment behaves differently from expected. What does this mean?
Some installed versions use a night-state brightness adjustment route because display-control behavior is platform dependent. Check the applicable version route before treating this as a fault.
The vehicle model did not update immediately after selection. What should I do?

Why are available languages different from another vehicle's cluster?
Language availability depends on the installed hardware platform and software package. A menu screenshot is a reference from a documented unit, not a guarantee that every PQ, MQB or Audi version includes the same language set.
My fuel display is not correct after installation. Should I change calibration?
Do not apply a generic correction first. PQ and MQB routes differ. On supported PQ routes, fuel-display calibration may be needed after confirming installation and applicable settings; MQB units should not be adjusted using the same fuel-tank path.
Should the physical-lights setting be changed on a PQ unit?
On documented PQ routes, the physical-lights setting should remain off unless technical support provides a different instruction for the confirmed unit. An incorrect setting can affect indicator display behavior.
What should I provide when displayed data does not match my vehicle?
