At a Glance

• USB format: FAT32; file in USB root

Before You Start

1. Identify exact model/region from order or Settings → About (MCU/UI).
2. Download the official package for your unit.
3. Checksum verify the final file you will flash:

   Windows: certUtil -hashfile gor.tar SHA256
   macOS/Linux: shasum -a 256 gor.tar

4. Backup CAN protocol, themes, units, language.
5. Stable power >12.2V (maintainer ≥10A or engine on, ventilated area).

Prepare the USB Drive

1. Use quality USB 8–32GB (USB2/3).
2. Format to FAT32 (default allocation). If release notes require exFAT, follow that.
3. Copy the firmware to USB root. The final file to flash must be gor.tar.
4. Safely eject the USB.

Run the Update

1. 1Ignition to ACC/ON; wait until cluster fully boots.
2. 2Insert USB into the cluster harness service port (not media port).
3. 3Settings → System → Update → USB Update (some units auto-detect).
4. 4Confirm version → Start. Screen may black out / reboot several times.
5. 5On prompt → remove USB → power off & lock car 3 min → restart.

Post-Update Checklist

• Verify MCU/UI/OS in Settings → About.
• Restore language, units (°C/°F, km/h/mph), timezone, themes.
• Re-select CAN protocol (brand/model/year) if needed; test SWC, TPMS, indicators, icons.
• Short test drive to confirm speed/RPM/fuel or EV SOC, reverse overlay (if applicable).
