FORD EXPLORER · 5TH GENERATION · 2011–2019

Give Your 2011–2019 Ford Explorer the Digital Cockpit It Never Had

The Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster replaces the dated factory instrument presentation with a vehicle-specific 12.3-inch Linux digital cockpit designed for the fifth-generation Explorer.

If your Explorer still drives the way you want but its original instrument area makes the cabin feel older than the vehicle itself, this upgrade changes the part of the interior you see on every journey.
12.3″ Digital Display Wide driver-focused instrument format
Linux Instrument System Dedicated driver-information platform
MPH / km/h Prepared for different vehicle markets
Matched Harness Route Designed around the Explorer installation

WHY OWNERS UPGRADE

Your Explorer Can Still Be Worth Keeping Even When the Cockpit Feels Dated

A well-kept fifth-generation Explorer may still meet an owner's daily needs, yet the original analog-heavy instrument presentation can make the interior feel noticeably older than newer vehicles.

The Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster addresses that specific gap. Instead of replacing a useful vehicle simply to gain a newer cockpit, the instrument area itself becomes the upgrade.

Visible Every Drive The cluster sits directly in the driver's normal sightline.
Modern Driver Interface Supported vehicle information is reorganized into a contemporary display.
Extend Interior Life Refresh the cockpit without replacing a vehicle that still suits you.

WHO GETS THE MOST VALUE

When Does a Ford Explorer Digital Cluster Upgrade Make the Most Sense?

You Plan to Keep the Explorer

The vehicle still suits your family or daily driving, so improving the cockpit feels more sensible than replacing the whole vehicle.

The Factory Cluster Feels Old

The biggest visual age gap inside the vehicle is directly behind the steering wheel.

You Prefer Driver-Focused Upgrades

You want a cleaner digital display for driving information rather than another screen placed elsewhere in the dashboard.

INSTALLED EXPERIENCE

The Difference Is More Than Screen Size

A successful instrument retrofit should feel like part of the dashboard rather than a screen added on top of it. The 12.3-inch cluster occupies the original driver instrument area and changes the visual character of the cockpit while keeping the display where the vehicle was designed to present driving information.

That makes the upgrade noticeable on every journey — during startup, normal cruising, acceleration and routine vehicle checks.

Integrated Position Uses the original instrument viewing area behind the steering wheel.
Digital Presentation Moves the cockpit away from an older analog-focused appearance.
Daily Value Unlike occasional accessories, the cluster is part of every drive.
DRIVER INFORMATION

What Information Can the Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster Display?

Current product visuals show the cluster presenting core driving and supported vehicle information in multiple digital layouts.

Additional vehicle-information interface reference.
Speed Primary road-speed information remains prominent.
RPM Engine-speed information is presented digitally.
Fuel Information Supported fuel information remains part of the driver display.
Temperature Supported operating-temperature information remains visible.
Gear Position Transmission status is integrated into the driver interface.
Vehicle Pages Supported vehicle-information pages are organized digitally.
Warning Information Supported warning signals remain part of the cluster role.
Multiple Layouts Different display styles change how information is presented.
PRODUCT CONSTRUCTION

Built as a Vehicle-Specific Instrument Upgrade

The product is not simply a loose display panel. Current visual material shows a complete instrument housing designed around the Explorer dashboard position together with the rear hardware required for the digital cluster.

That vehicle-specific construction is important because fitment quality depends on more than screen dimensions. Housing geometry, mounting position, connectors and communication with the original vehicle all influence the finished result.

Dedicated Housing Designed around the Explorer instrument position.
Matched Connections Uses a product-specific harness and interface route.
Vehicle Review The supplied route can be matched before shipment.

MARKET CONFIGURATION

MPH or km/h? Prepare the Cluster for Where Your Explorer Is Used

The product route supports MPH and km/h display requirements. That matters for fifth-generation Explorers used outside their original sales market, including imported vehicles.

A U.S.-market Explorer will normally require MPH as the primary unit, while a vehicle used in a metric market may require km/h. The correct speed-unit requirement should form part of the order preparation.

MPH For U.S. and other MPH-based use.
km/h For metric-market use.
Market Matching Tell iKAGOO the vehicle market when necessary.
Interface Settings Current assets show configurable display pages.
WHY BUY FROM IKAGOO

A Digital Cluster Purchase Is More Than Choosing the Screen

Similar-looking digital clusters can be easy to compare by price alone. The difference becomes more important when the correct version has to be matched, the installer needs clarification, or support is required after the dashboard has already been opened.

Compatibility First Vehicle and original-cluster information can be checked before the final version is prepared.
Version Matching Cluster, harness, unit requirement and configuration are prepared around the supported vehicle route.
Installation Support Technical support is available when connection, setup or testing requires clarification.
Long-Term Order Record The original order provides a reference point for later troubleshooting and compatible support.

IKAGOO THREE-INDICATOR EVALUATION

Three Different Questions Before You Commit to the Upgrade

iKAGOO separates the buying decision into three parts: whether the upgrade creates enough real value, whether the product matches the original vehicle closely enough, and whether the installation route is realistic for the person doing the work.

01 · PURCHASE VALUE
iKAGOO Upgrade Necessity
82/99
STRONG UPGRADE CASE
Why the Ford Explorer scores strongly
  • The 2011–2019 Explorer belongs to a cockpit generation where the original instrument presentation can now look significantly older than modern vehicles.
  • The cluster is positioned directly in the driver's normal sightline, so the upgrade is visible on nearly every journey.
  • The 12.3-inch digital presentation creates a substantial visual change rather than a minor cosmetic adjustment.
  • Supported speed, RPM, fuel, temperature, gear and vehicle information are presented in a more modern digital format.
  • The upgrade can make sense for owners who still value the Explorer and want to extend the useful visual life of the cabin.
  • The change does not require rebuilding the entire center dashboard to modernize the driver's primary viewing area.
Why it is not 99/99
  • A correctly functioning original cluster already provides the basic information necessary to drive the vehicle.
  • Part of the value comes from interior modernization rather than repair of a failed original component.
  • Buyers who are fully satisfied with the original gauges may see less practical value from the upgrade.
Best suited to: owners who intend to keep their 2011–2019 Explorer and want a noticeable driver-facing cockpit upgrade rather than replacing the entire vehicle.
Lower-priority buyer: an owner who sees no problem with the current instrument appearance and does not place much value on digital cockpit presentation.

02 · VEHICLE INTEGRATION
iKAGOO Original Vehicle Compatibility
95/100
HIGH VEHICLE-SPECIFIC COMPATIBILITY
Why compatibility scores 95/100
  • The product is designed around the fifth-generation 2011–2019 Ford Explorer rather than as a universal instrument screen.
  • Current product images show a dedicated cluster housing shaped for the Explorer instrument position.
  • The product uses a dedicated harness/interface route rather than relying on a generic loose-screen connection.
  • Supported vehicle information is displayed through integration with the vehicle rather than through an unrelated standalone gauge source.
  • MPH and km/h requirements can be prepared for different vehicle markets.
  • iKAGOO can review the original vehicle/cluster information before the final product route is prepared.
Why 5 points are retained
  • Factory trim, original cluster configuration and previous vehicle modifications can create differences between individual Explorers.
  • A model-year match alone cannot prove every supported information channel on every possible vehicle configuration.
  • Vehicles outside the fifth-generation 2011–2019 range require a different product route.
95/100 means: the hardware route is highly vehicle-specific when the supplied version is correctly matched to the supported 2011–2019 Explorer configuration.
Stop condition: if the submitted vehicle or original cluster does not match the supported fifth-generation route, the incorrect version should not be prepared for shipment.

03 · INSTALLATION ROUTE
iKAGOO Installation Ease Level
L3/5
ADVANCED DIY · PROFESSIONAL FRIENDLY
Why this is an L3 installation
  • The installation uses the vehicle's existing instrument position rather than requiring a custom tablet mount or major dashboard fabrication.
  • The supplied route is designed around matched cluster and harness components.
  • The supported installation does not intentionally depend on cutting, drilling or soldering the original main vehicle harness.
  • The vehicle-specific product structure reduces the adaptation work required compared with a universal display.
What still requires installation skill
  • The original instrument area must be removed carefully without damaging the dashboard trim or connectors.
  • Harness and interface connections need to be identified and seated correctly.
  • Speed units, warning information and supported vehicle-data functions should be checked before the dashboard is fully reassembled.
  • Previous electrical modifications or an unexpected original cluster configuration should be reviewed rather than forced to fit.
Recommended installer: an experienced automotive DIY owner familiar with interior trim and electrical connectors, or a professional automotive electronics installer.
L3 does not mean: the job is a one-minute plug swap. Dashboard access, correct connection, setup checks and final function verification are still part of the installation.

FITMENT

Which 2011–2019 Ford Explorer Models Does This Digital Cluster Cover?

This product route is intended for the fifth-generation Ford Explorer, model years 2011 through 2019.

The generation was sold in multiple trim and equipment configurations, so model year identifies the main vehicle range while the original cluster configuration helps determine the correct final route.

INSTALLATION & CONFIGURATION

Does the Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster Need Programming?

The important distinction is between replacing an original Ford factory IPC with another OEM IPC and installing this matched aftermarket digital-cluster upgrade.

A factory Ford cluster replacement can involve vehicle-specific programming, configuration, mileage or security-related procedures. The iKAGOO product instead follows its own matched cluster, harness and interface route.

For that reason, the correct approach is to prepare the supplied version against the supported vehicle configuration rather than assuming every 2011–2019 Explorer follows exactly the same setup procedure.

Matched Harness Vehicle-specific installation route.
Vehicle Review Original cluster information can be checked when required.
Function Verification Test supported vehicle information before final reassembly.

AFTER-SALES CONFIDENCE

What Support Remains After the Cluster Arrives?

Vehicle-specific electronics are easiest to own when the original order, vehicle information and supplied hardware remain connected to the support process. That allows later questions to start from an actual product record instead of from an anonymous marketplace listing.

HIGH-INTENT BUYER FAQ

Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster FAQ

1. Will this Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster fit my 2011–2019 Explorer?
The product route is designed for the fifth-generation Ford Explorer from 2011 through 2019. Because factory cluster configurations and vehicle equipment can differ, iKAGOO may use the vehicle year and original-cluster information to prepare the correct supported version before shipment.
2. Does the digital cluster support MPH and km/h?
Yes. The Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster supports both MPH and km/h display requirements. The required speed unit should be included in the vehicle configuration when necessary.
3. Does the Ford Explorer digital cluster need programming or coding?
This is a matched aftermarket digital-cluster route rather than a random replacement factory Ford IPC. The exact supplied version and vehicle configuration determine whether a setup or configuration step is required. iKAGOO prepares the route against the supported vehicle instead of assuming that every Explorer follows an identical programming procedure.
4. Does installation require cutting the original wiring?
The intended matched installation route uses the supplied vehicle-specific harness and is designed to avoid cutting, drilling or soldering the supported original main vehicle harness. Dashboard disassembly, connector work and final testing are still required.
5. What original vehicle information can the new cluster display?
Current product visual material shows core information including speed, RPM, fuel, temperature, gear status and additional supported vehicle-information pages. Exact available information depends on the original vehicle equipment, supported vehicle signals and supplied configuration.
6. Will the original mileage remain correct after installation?
Mileage handling should be confirmed for the supplied cluster version rather than inferred only from the model year. If odometer retention is an important buying requirement, iKAGOO should confirm the applicable route for the specific Explorer before shipment.
7. Can I change the speed display between MPH and km/h?
The product family supports both MPH and km/h requirements. If the Explorer is an imported vehicle or is being used in a different market from its original delivery country, tell iKAGOO the required unit during order preparation.
8. Can I install this cluster myself?
iKAGOO rates the installation route at L3. An experienced DIY owner familiar with automotive trim removal, dashboard connectors and electrical function testing may be able to complete the work. A professional automotive electronics installer is recommended for owners without that experience.
9. What should be tested before the dashboard is reassembled?
Check the display startup, speed unit, RPM, fuel information, gear indication, warning information and other supported vehicle-data pages. Any unexpected behavior should be investigated while the installation area is still accessible.
10. What information should I have ready after ordering?
Keep the vehicle model year and a clear photo of the original instrument cluster available. If the supplied version requires additional vehicle or connector information, iKAGOO can request it before shipment.
11. Does this digital instrument cluster support Apple CarPlay?
No. This Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster is a Linux-based driver-information display and does not support Apple CarPlay. This information is included here only to clarify product scope before purchase.
12. Is this product compatible with the 2020 Ford Explorer?
No. The 2020 Explorer belongs to the next vehicle generation and is outside this 2011–2019 fifth-generation product route.
13. What happens if the vehicle information does not match the supported version?
If the pre-shipment review identifies that the submitted vehicle does not match the supported product route, the incorrect version should not be prepared and shipped. The order can then follow the appropriate compatibility or refund process under the current iKAGOO policy.
14. What happens if I need help after installation?
Contact iKAGOO with the order information, vehicle details and clear photos or video showing the issue. Keeping the support request connected to the original order helps identify the supplied hardware and configuration more efficiently.

Keep the Explorer You Know. Upgrade the Cockpit You See Every Day.

If your 2011–2019 Explorer still fits your daily life but the original instrument area makes the cabin feel older than it should, the Ford Explorer Digital Instrument Cluster offers a focused way to modernize the driver's experience.

Place the order for the correct 2011–2019 Explorer route. If additional vehicle or original-cluster details are required, iKAGOO can review them before the final cluster, harness and configuration are prepared for shipment.

Shipping, Returns, Warranty & Order Questions

A practical summary of the main terms that apply to vehicle-specific iKAGOO orders.

01

Where are orders shipped from and how long does delivery take?

Most iKAGOO orders are dispatched from our fulfillment location in China after the product configuration and vehicle information have been checked.

Normal order processing is approximately 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery after dispatch is generally:

  • USA & Canada: approximately 5–9 business days
  • European Union: approximately 7–15 business days
  • UK & Australia: approximately 7–10 business days
  • Other supported regions: approximately 7–20 business days

Customs clearance, holidays, weather, carrier delays and remote-area delivery may affect these estimates.

02

Will I need to pay VAT, import duties or customs charges?

Standard international shipping normally does not include destination-country VAT, import duties, brokerage charges or customs clearance fees.

For eligible European Union destinations, DDP shipping may be available. Import-related charges are included only when DDP is selected at checkout or confirmed by iKAGOO in writing before shipment.

When DDP is not selected, charges collected by local customs or the delivery carrier are normally the recipient's responsibility.

03

Can I request express shipping and how do I track the parcel?

Express or expedited shipping may be available for selected products and destinations. Availability, carrier and any additional cost are confirmed before shipment.

Depending on the route and product type, iKAGOO may use DHL, FedEx, UPS, EMS, 4PX or another tracked logistics provider.

After dispatch, the tracking number or tracking link is normally sent to the email address used for the order. Tracking updates may take several business days to appear during international carrier transfers.

04

What is the return and refund policy?

Return eligibility depends on the reason for return, product condition, installation status, supporting evidence and whether the return has been approved by iKAGOO.

For an approved non-defective return, the product must normally remain unused, uninstalled, complete and suitable for resale. The customer is generally responsible for approved return shipping costs.

Original shipping, DDP, VAT, customs duties and other logistics costs are generally non-refundable unless required by law or otherwise confirmed by iKAGOO.

Do not send a product back before receiving an approved return address and return instructions from iKAGOO.

05

What if the product still cannot be installed after compatibility review?

Additional protection may apply when iKAGOO reviewed the vehicle compatibility, the customer supplied accurate vehicle information and reasonable installation and diagnostic steps have been completed.

If iKAGOO confirms that no reasonable technical solution is available and the issue is reported within 7 calendar days after delivery, the customer may be eligible for a refund of the product price without being required to return the product.

Original shipping, DDP, VAT, customs duties and other third-party charges are not included in this product-price refund.

06

What warranty is provided, and does opening the product cancel it?

Eligible products include a 12-month limited hardware warranty covering verified manufacturing defects and eligible hardware failures under normal use.

Depending on the verified issue, support may include remote diagnosis, configuration assistance, replacement parts, repair, replacement, partial refund or full refund.

Inspection or third-party examination does not automatically cancel the entire warranty. However, damage caused by unauthorized repair, incorrect modification, broken circuits, improper reassembly, incorrect wiring, impact, water ingress or misuse is not normally covered.

Contact iKAGOO before dismantling, modifying or repairing the product so the correct diagnostic procedure can be provided.

07

What if my order arrives damaged or has missing parts?

Contact iKAGOO within 7 calendar days after delivery and keep the original packaging, shipping label, accessories and product.

Please provide clear photos or video showing:

  • The external shipping carton and shipping label
  • Visible packaging damage
  • The product and affected area
  • All accessories and wiring received

After verification, iKAGOO may arrange a missing-part shipment, replacement, repair, refund or another reasonable solution.

08

What if I ordered the wrong version or need to change my order?

Contact iKAGOO as soon as possible and before installation. For address, vehicle configuration or product changes, contact us preferably within 12 hours after placing the order.

An exchange or return may be approved when an incorrectly selected product remains unused, uninstalled, complete and suitable for resale. Customers are normally responsible for relevant shipping costs and price differences.

Vehicle-specific products may enter procurement, programming, testing or configuration shortly after payment. Once preparation or shipment has started, cancellation may no longer be possible, or reasonable costs already incurred may be deducted.

09

What is included in the package?

Package contents vary by product, vehicle model, factory system and selected configuration.

Depending on the product, the package may include the main device, vehicle-specific wiring harnesses, CANBUS interface, adapters, USB cables, antennas, microphones, mounting hardware or other required installation accessories.

Refer to the relevant product photos, specifications and order confirmation for the exact contents of your order.

10

How do I contact iKAGOO for technical or after-sales support?

You can contact iKAGOO through the website contact form, WhatsApp or other available support channels. Typical response time is within 24 business hours.

For faster technical diagnosis, include your order number, vehicle model and year, relevant factory-system photos, product photos and a clear video showing the issue.

11

Is payment secure and are installment options available?

Payments are processed through the secure payment methods displayed during checkout.

Available card, wallet and installment options may vary by country, currency, payment provider and customer eligibility.

Installment services, including options offered by PayPal or another payment provider, remain subject to that provider's regional availability and approval requirements.
