Mercedes-Benz Vehicle Upgrades

Vehicle-Specific Mercedes-Benz Car Upgrades

Explore iKAGOO Mercedes-Benz Car Upgrades for selected sedans, coupes, SUVs, MPVs and performance-oriented platforms. The current range includes Mercedes-Benz Dashboard Upgrades, Mercedes-Benz Cockpit Upgrades and Mercedes-Benz Retrofit Upgrades, matched to the chassis generation, production year and original Mercedes factory system.

Mercedes-Specific Matching Chassis code, NTG generation, original screen, audio route, factory amplifier, camera and control system can all affect the correct version.

Supported Mercedes-Benz Platforms

Find Your Mercedes Generation

Mercedes model names span multiple chassis and infotainment generations. Start with the model family and chassis code, then confirm the original factory system before choosing a display, multimedia or cockpit retrofit route.

Compact Mercedes

A-Class, CLA, GLA & B-Class

Current catalog routes include selected W176, C117, X156 and W246 vehicles. These platforms can use different center-screen and driver-display solutions depending on year and factory equipment.

Core Sedan & SUV

C-Class & GLC

Selected W204, W205 and X253 configurations are covered by Mercedes-Benz multimedia and cockpit upgrade routes. NTG4.0, NTG4.5 and NTG5.0 differences are especially important here.

Executive Mercedes

E-Class, CLS & S-Class

Current product routes include selected W212, W213, W218, W221 and W222 configurations, with additional S-Class variants depending on the exact vehicle and original system.

Mercedes SUV Range

GLK, ML, GL, GLE, GLS & G-Class

Selected X204, W164, X164, W166, X166 and W463 platforms are represented in the current iKAGOO catalog. Similar dashboards can still require different interfaces and installation routes.

MPV & Touring Platforms

V-Class, Vito & R-Class

Selected W447 and W251 vehicles have dedicated multimedia or digital-driver-display routes. Final matching should use the actual dashboard, original cluster and system evidence rather than the badge alone.

Additional Platforms

SLK & Other Vehicle-Specific Routes

The range also includes selected SLK R171 and other Mercedes-Benz configurations where a vehicle-specific retrofit route has been verified for the supplied hardware.

Mercedes Fitment Starts With the Chassis and Factory System

Two Mercedes vehicles with the same badge and year can still use different screens, multimedia generations, amplifiers, cameras or connectors. A reliable retrofit therefore depends on more than the model name.

Mercedes Buying Questions

Mercedes-Benz Car Upgrades FAQ

What Mercedes-Benz models does iKAGOO currently support?

The current catalog includes selected A-Class, B-Class, C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, CLA, CLS, GLA, GLK, GLC, ML, GL, GLE, GLS, G-Class, V-Class, Vito, R-Class and SLK routes. Exact availability depends on chassis, year and original vehicle equipment.

Why does the Mercedes chassis code matter?

The chassis code identifies the vehicle generation more precisely than the badge alone. A C-Class W204 and C-Class W205, for example, use different dashboard, multimedia and retrofit routes even though both are C-Class vehicles.

Why do NTG4.0, NTG4.5 and NTG5.0 matter?

Mercedes multimedia generations can change screen interfaces, LVDS routing, controller behavior, audio integration and required harnesses. The correct upgrade version should be matched to the actual factory system rather than selected only by appearance.

Is the Mercedes model year enough to confirm compatibility?

Not always. Vehicles from the same year can differ by factory screen, multimedia generation, audio system, amplifier, camera, controller or previous modifications. Additional dashboard or connector photos may be requested when the configuration is not obvious.

What is the difference between a Mercedes digital cluster and an Android head unit?

A digital instrument cluster upgrades the driver-information area behind the steering wheel. An Android head unit or center display focuses on multimedia, apps, phone integration and the center infotainment experience. They address different parts of the cockpit and use different compatibility checks.

Will original Mercedes controls and factory functions remain available?

Supported original functions can be retained when the correct vehicle-specific interface is used, but the exact retained functions depend on the product and original vehicle configuration. Product-level compatibility information should be checked before ordering.

Does every Mercedes upgrade need coding or a fiber-optic adapter?

No universal answer applies to every Mercedes retrofit. Coding, audio adapters and fiber-optic interfaces depend on the exact product, factory multimedia system and audio equipment. iKAGOO avoids assuming that one installation rule applies across unrelated Mercedes platforms.

Does iKAGOO provide Mercedes installation and after-sales support?

Yes. iKAGOO publishes vehicle-specific installation resources and provides order-linked technical guidance for supported hardware. The support model is intended to continue beyond the first installation rather than ending when the product is delivered.
