Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide 2016–2023: Is a Digital Cockpit Worth It?
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Is a Digital Cockpit Worth Changing the Part You See Every Drive?
If you still like the way your Levante looks, drives and feels, you do not need to reinvent the whole interior. For many owners, the part that gives away the car's age first is much smaller: the analog instrument panel directly behind the steering wheel.
A digital cockpit makes sense when you want the part you look at on every journey to feel more consistent with the performance and luxury character that made you keep the Levante in the first place.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Most of the SUV May Not Need Changing
The right reason to modernize a Levante is not that the whole vehicle suddenly became old. It is often the opposite: the shape, cabin materials, driving position and Maserati character still give you a reason to keep it, while one highly visible part of the cockpit now feels behind the rest.
This matters because a good upgrade should preserve the reason you bought the Maserati. You are not trying to make it look like an unrelated new vehicle. You are trying to remove one of the strongest visual reminders of its age.
That is why the digital cockpit makes more sense when you already know which part bothers you: the area directly in front of the driver.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: The Cabin Can Still Feel Special Even When the Gauges Feel Dated
This is why the instrument cluster is such a focused upgrade. It changes one of the most frequently viewed areas without asking you to redesign the complete dashboard.
The goal is not to erase the character of the interior. It is to make the driver information area feel more appropriate for a luxury SUV that you still intend to use.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: What Changes When the Analog Cluster Becomes Digital?
The visual difference matters because the instrument panel is not something you see once when you enter the car. It stays in your normal driving view throughout the journey.
If that is the feeling you notice every time you drive, this is the part of the vehicle worth addressing first.

Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: A Strong First Upgrade When the Car Is Good but the Driver Display Feels Old
A well-kept used Levante can still deliver the style, seating position and character you wanted. The instrument panel may simply feel older than the rest of the ownership experience.
If the instrument area is the part you notice, solve that problem first and leave the parts of the cabin you still like alone.
That makes the support relationship after installation more important than a one-day unboxing experience.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Why CarPlay in the Driver Display Can Matter More Than Another Decorative Screen
The current Levante cluster supports CarPlay directly within the digital instrument interface, bringing supported phone-based navigation and media closer to the driver's normal field of view.
The display also follows the Levante's ECO, Comfort, Sport and Offroad driving-mode presentation, helping the cockpit feel connected to the way the vehicle is being used rather than showing one generic layout all the time.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Four Questions to Solve Before You Order
Two digital clusters can look similar in a photo. The difference becomes more important when you need the seller before shipment, during installation or several years later.
Confirm M161 generation, model year, steering side and original instrument appearance where needed.
Eligible buyers can choose a confirmed DDP tax-included route where it is offered.
Installation questions are easier to handle when the seller can identify the exact order and hardware route.
Hardware may age, software may need help and service parts may eventually be required.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: How DDP Shipping Helps Make Import Duties More Predictable
When the DDP arrangement is expressly selected at checkout or confirmed in writing by iKAGOO, the supported import duties and applicable VAT covered by that route are included in the agreed shipping arrangement.
This is especially useful when you do not want the buying experience to end with a separate courier request for covered import charges before delivery.
Standard shipping does not automatically include duties, VAT, brokerage or other destination charges.
DDP availability depends on destination, package, order conditions, customs requirements and the available logistics route.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: What Happens When the Dashboard Is Already Apart?
At that point you do not want to begin by explaining to a new seller which product you bought, which version it is or whether the hardware was actually intended for your Levante.
The current supported route uses an OEM-style connector approach and does not list additional coding as required, but the dashboard still needs to be disassembled correctly, the cluster fitted correctly and all functions checked before reassembly.
The useful benefit is that the listed Levante route does not require an additional coding process as part of the normal supported installation path.
It still requires careful removal, correct connection, fitment and full function testing. An experienced automotive-electronics installer remains the sensible option when you do not normally work inside dashboards.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: What If the Digital Cluster Has a Problem Years Later?
Automotive electronics can develop faults. A more useful promise is not that nothing will ever go wrong, but that the original buyer still has a defined route for diagnosis, software support, compatible parts investigation and later upgrade options.
Eligible hardware is covered by the current 12-month limited commercial hardware warranty, subject to the published terms.
Eligible original purchasers receive remote troubleshooting, recovery guidance and compatible existing software assistance where an appropriate package remains available.
iKAGOO helps assess compatible parts, repair routes or a newer compatible product where a practical solution remains available.
If a problem appears later, the order can remain the reference for the product version, vehicle information, previous support history and available service route.
The 3-year software commitment and 5-year parts / upgrade commitment are separate from the 12-month hardware warranty. They do not create a five-year free hardware replacement promise. Parts, physical repairs and shipping may be chargeable where applicable.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Three Reasons to Buy the Upgrade Through iKAGOO
The year, M161 route, steering side and original cluster appearance can be checked before the final unit is prepared.
Installation and troubleshooting do not begin from an unknown product. The order remains the reference for what was actually supplied.
Hardware warranty, remote software support and parts / upgrade support provide separate routes beyond installation day.

Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Buyer Questions for 2016–2023 Models
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Is a digital cockpit worth it on a 2016–2023 Levante?
Yes, when the analog instrument panel is the part of the cabin that now feels older than the rest of the SUV. The upgrade changes the driver's normal visual area without requiring you to replace the interior elements you still enjoy.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Which years does the current digital cluster support?
The current iKAGOO route is listed for first-generation Maserati Levante Tipo M161 models from 2016–2023. Actual fitment should still be checked against model year, steering side and original instrument appearance where confirmation is required.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Does it fit a 2016 Levante?
Yes, supported listed M161 2016 routes are included. Send clear original cluster and dashboard photos if you want iKAGOO to confirm the exact vehicle before dispatch.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Does it fit a 2017, 2018, 2019 or 2020 Levante?
Yes, those model years are inside the listed 2016–2023 M161 range. Engine route and original vehicle configuration should still match the supported product path.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Does it fit a 2021, 2022 or 2023 Levante?
Yes, supported M161 routes continue through 2023. The current listing also includes the applicable 2.0T Mild Hybrid route for 2021–2023.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Does the digital cluster support CarPlay?
Yes. The current iKAGOO Levante digital cluster supports CarPlay directly through the digital instrument interface.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: What original vehicle information remains available?
The current route retains core driving information including speed, RPM, fuel, temperature, gear position, mileage, trip data, consumption, range and supported warnings. Final displayed functions depend on the confirmed vehicle configuration and correct installation.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Does the installation require coding?
No additional coding is listed as required on the normal supported installation route. The cluster still requires correct dashboard disassembly, connector installation and complete function testing before reassembly.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Does it support Trofeo models?
The current listing includes the Levante 3.8T V8 Trofeo route for 2019–2023. Vehicle confirmation remains recommended before shipment.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Does it support diesel models?
The current listing includes the Levante 3.0T Diesel route for 2016–2020. Regional availability and original vehicle configuration should still be checked.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Will I receive an unexpected customs bill?
If an eligible DDP Tax-Included Shipping option is offered and expressly selected or confirmed before shipment, the supported duties and applicable VAT covered by that route are included in the agreed shipping arrangement. Standard shipping does not automatically include those charges.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Is DDP available for US and EU customers?
Tax-included routes are available for eligible US orders and supported European Union destinations where the option is offered and confirmed. Availability depends on the destination, package and current logistics route.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: What happens if the cluster has a problem after one year?
The end of the 12-month hardware-warranty period does not automatically end the support relationship. Eligible original purchasers remain connected to the applicable 3-year remote software and 5-year parts / upgrade support routes.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Does five-year support mean a five-year free hardware warranty?
No. The 12-month hardware warranty, 3-year remote software support and 5-year parts / upgrade support are separate commitments. Parts, physical repair and shipping may be chargeable outside the applicable warranty coverage.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: What if a replacement component is no longer produced?
iKAGOO can assess an available compatible part, practical repair route or newer compatible product where a solution remains available. The support commitment does not guarantee that every discontinued component will remain permanently in stock.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: What should I send before ordering if I am unsure about compatibility?
Send the exact model year and clear photos of the original instrument cluster and dashboard. Include steering position and any known modifications that may affect the original vehicle configuration.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Why buy this upgrade from iKAGOO?
Because the buying decision continues after the product arrives. iKAGOO combines vehicle-specific review, a confirmed DDP route where eligible, order-linked installation support and a defined long-term hardware, software and parts-support framework.
Maserati Levante Upgrade Guide: Modernize the Driver View Without Losing What You Still Like About the SUV
If your 2016–2023 Maserati Levante M161 still gives you a reason to keep driving it, the instrument panel may be one of the most focused places to modernize.
The 12.3-inch digital cockpit changes what you see through the steering wheel, retains the core driving information you still rely on and adds supported CarPlay without asking you to redesign the rest of the interior.
More importantly, the buying route should solve more than the installation-day question: confirm the vehicle before shipment, choose an eligible DDP route when you want covered import duties handled in advance, and keep a support path tied to the original order if software, parts or technical help are needed later.
The upgrade should still make sense after the excitement of the first drive is over.
